課程概述

本課程同時融合政治社會學的理論及實踐，除強調對政治社會學經典的深度閱讀之外，在幾個重要的政治社會學次領域上，如國族主義、種族與族群、國家、社會運動、民主及政經制度等，均以實際的科技議題作為理論應用及深入的實踐分析。

課程目標

熟悉政治社會學理論，並藉理論基礎延伸到政治社會學的實務政策議題，企圖以此同時培養學生理論深度、應用理論、及創新理論與實務的能力。本課程以科學及科技作為主要探索領域，也希望進而幫助學生學習及實踐國際性、多樣性及跨領域性的研究途徑。更進一步地，本課程應有助學生未來多元地探索台灣本土有關科技的政治社會性之政策議題。

2.	3篇2-3頁的批判性及關鍵性閱讀心得	30%	各週均可繳交，不包括第1週，1週不得交2篇或以上之篇數。1.5行距、12號字。
3.	至少有1週引導課堂討論。	15%	不是報告，而是要引起對話、討論、鎖定主題、設計活動、引發問題等等。
4.	1 篇期末報告	40%	第6週前要提出報告題目，第11週前要完成書目，第15週前至少要寫作1萬字（不包含書目）。
